Views from readers: Critical race theory + vaccines + finding God
The vaccines
I wish a lot of liberal letter writers would take the time to learn what a vaccine is.
The shot taken for COVID-19 is a massive, scientific experiment more akin to gene therapy than vaccination.
And it has been established that early treatment with certain drugs will cure this disease in most cases. The heroic people that work in hospitals would not be required to work until exhausted if these treatments were widespread and a priority.
Big Pharma is pushing this pseudo-vaccine and making unbelievable profits off of it. I wonder what the left-wing pundits will say if within two years the vaccinated start dying off in record numbers.
I would guess they would blame the unvaccinated.
I have no fear of COVID-19 because, if I died from it I am sure I would receive my just reward in heaven.

Critical race theory
On Oct. 13, Douglas Carswell, the CEO of the Mississippi Center for Public Policy, had a column in the Sun Herald. His group issued a report calling for the Mississippi Legislature to ban the teaching of critical race theory across all educational levels in the state.
This is a violation of the spirit of the First Amendment of the Constitution.
It is not the government’s role to dictate the speech of teachers, or regulate the flow of ideas across society.
In a free society ideas are not banned, they are argued. The attempt to ban critical race theory only exposes the right’s inability to put forth a cogent refute of a historical truth they find unpalatable.
As Mr. Carswell’s op-ed explains, lacking an argument, those that oppose critical race theory are forced to revert to culture war tropes, and the power of government to inhibit the free flow of this idea. It is an idea whose only transgression is an examination of the social reality of America.
The critics argue that critical race theory will lead to indoctrination. If this is true, then we have an alarming and pressing deficiency within the educational system. One would expect that the education system is providing the citizens of this state with the ability to critically assess information and ideas to which they are exposed.
And if it is not, well the legislature should not be wasting its time banning ideas, it should be utilizing its time fostering thought.

Moving forward
There are those of you who think that life, or living in the real world, is your teacher. But you are very mistaken.
In this day, we have a “divine educator” who is the director for human behavior and the moving of how life is meant to be.
Do not allow the real world to be your teacher because the real world is packed with disinformation and misinformation, corruption and evil as an outcome. if the real world is your teacher, its no wonder you are who you are.
The manifestation of God is your teacher and a way to move forward.
