Bad choices

I am wondering why you publish these McClatchy cartoons.

Every one I’ve seen depicts President Trump as a blithering fool, which he most definitely is not Furthermore, President Trump has done a job on the magnificent COVID-19 virus pandemic.

Please be more considerate of those of us who respect the job he’s done, especially after the mess President Obama left our country in. I know I’m not alone in my view.

Selfish actions

The mayors of Gulfport and Biloxi have issued a nightly curfew because of people’s selfishness..

I can definitely understand this decision.

I don’t understand why people would want to continue gathering in large crowds and put in danger the lives of good people who are trying to heed to the official guidelines.

I would rather put up with 6-8 weeks of hardship. I hope these selfish people will heed the guidelines.

So the next time you want to plan a large gathering, think about the consequences of your actions.

The coronavirus pandemic will be over at some point and everything will go back to normal. But it will take time.

Panic in the news

You see panic in the news.

Schools are all shutting down. How are working parents going to have their young kids cared for?

Logical thinking answers that question.

Those students not in schoo, include many 16-18 year old high school students and many college students. They can watch siblings and other small children of close relatives. Others can make a few bucks baby sitting. Some businesses will be temporarily closed, and their employees will be another free or paid baby sitting pool.

Think of other ways to work through this relatively short period of rough times and remember to check on the sick and elderly.
