I applaud the efforts of some businesses and individuals who are donating to feed, clothe and house victims of Harvey, a terrible storm. I’m sure it makes their heart proud.
But some of these same people will call police or look the other way in a parking lot to others who are in need who find themselves a victim of a different but just as devastating kind of a storm. For me, I just don’t see a difference in the two.
So the next time you see someone in need, perhaps you should look a little deeper into your heart and you might see it, too.
