Police officers deserve respect

Words haven’t been processed of yet to define this country’s young warriors. It certainly extends far beyond the word, “heroes.”

During two tours of service in Vietnam, I was wounded three times and cited as a hero. But, I find peace and a sense of security when I bow my head in the company of police officers and truly hope we all find a way to show them the respect they richly deserve.
