‘AGT’ made Chapel Hart a household name. The Mississippi trio will take country music by storm.
Even from the very beginning of their “America’s Got Talent” journey, Chapel Hart paved their own way.
The girl group from Poplarville, Mississippi is country to their core and poured their emotions and raw talent out on stage with their performance of “You Can Have Him Jolene.” The song was a modern response to Dolly Parton’s hit song “Jolene.”
The trio’s performance of their song broke the mold when all of the AGT judges, including Simon Cowell, hit the “Golden Buzzer” for sisters Danica Hart and Devynn Hart, and their cousin Trea Swindle. That would cement a ticket to the finals.
That moment would make Chapel Hart a household name across America, and the trio would impress every time they performed on stage.
But before many of the 1.2 billion votes cast during AGT this season went to them — and before celebs like Parton and Loretta Lynn tweeted about them — Chapel Hart was already known around South Mississippi. They are beloved in their small town, have performed all over South Mississippi and filmed music videos on the Coast.
Chapel Hart finished in the top 5 on the AGT season finale, but they’ve always been winners to us.
But now, more than ever, we have to support these country artists who want to break the mold in Nashville. Download their music, buy tickets to their shows and follow Chapel Hart on social media. Tell your friends about them and buy their merch. Scream their names from the rooftops like you were during voting on AGT.
Chapel Hart already has notoriety and fame. And South Mississippi can help them become country music icons (more than they already are).
You can see Chapel Hart perform Nov. 30 at Ground Zero Blues Club in Biloxi. Tickets are on sale now.
