I can’t believe there is a school band raising funds by selling guns. Thank you so much for exposing this to the public. The only thing you left out is how to buy a ticket. Please print this information to help this poor school out.

Best Coastal cities

I find it very interesting that the great communities of Ocean Springs and Bay St. Louis are the top two “Best Small Coastal Towns” in the U.S. as recognized by USA Today readers despite the dysfunction caused by the Harrison County Board of Supervisors. Harrison County has twice the representation than Hancock or Jackson County, however the most successful tourism communities are found in those counties with the minority representation. It’s time to stop the “good ole girl” politics and appoint equal and qualified representation on the tourism commission from all the Coastal counties. Harrison County just might learn something!

Gas prices

I’ll bet big oil executives and their families aren’t complaining about the gas prices. Heck no, they’re too busy counting the billions of dollars in profits for themselves and shareholders.

A trade off

Pascagoula’s SOS lobby seeks special exemptions. No problem. Pascagoula can readily do without FEMA restrictions: they then simply become a “sanctioned community,” though no one there will then be able to get flood insurance coverage from the National Flood Insurance program. No one.

Abortion provider

I would like to see the Sun Herald do as big of an article on the potential overturn of Roe vs. Wade from the pro-life side. Look into what the Catholic Diocese of Biloxi will be implementing to help pregnant women.
