Looking good

I have never seen the Coast look so picturesque. Thank you to Harrison County and all the Public Works departments for getting the Coast in pristine shape for Cruisin’ The Coast. I feel so lucky and proud to live in Long Beach, where the living is easy.

I’m out

Freedom is a great thing. After 42 years of being a diehard fan, I will now be free for fishing on Sundays for the rest of this season.

No end

Political feuds are never-ending.

I hope. . .

Hope they never allow phone conversations on airplanes. I will have to travel with ear plugs and imagine all the squabbling/fights over loud conversations.

Just play

Every time a member of the NFL opens up their pie hole they dig a deeper hole. Respect our country, flag, anthem and play football.

Beware

O J is getting out. Really. The ongoing saga continues.

Tune out

Turn off the NFL. When the money dries up, you can bet your house that they will “fix the problem” all by themselves.

Why holding back?

I am old enough to remember when Russia was trying to strangle West Berlin and the USAF initiated the Berlin Airlift to deliver food and medicine. Why are we wringing our hands about the Puerto Rico plight instead of rushing to the rescue?

Listen, don’t watch

This weekend, listen to the Saints game. Don’t watch it on TV. The networks will know immediately that they’re ratings are down. The results will be quick. Stand up for our flag!

More draining

I do not look at the Alabama election as a defeat for the the President. I look at it as though he viewed Strange as a friend already in Washington but the people still want to drain the swamp of the establishment.
