Another cold front headed to South Mississippi; shelters to open

Another cold front is bringing rain showers and colder temperatures to South Mississippi.

Rain is likely Wednesday morning with chances dropping off in the afternoon, the National Weather Service predicts. Chance of precipitation all day is 60 percent, and 20 percent at night.

Wednesday night lows are forecast in the mid to low 30s.

Hancock County's Bay St. Louis shelter, Harrison County's D'Iberville shelter, and the Salvation Army's Gulfport shelter will both open Wednesday.

Temperatures should start to rebound again Thursday with lows in the 40s that night and Friday night, with sunny days peaking in the 60s.

Nightly lows rise into the 50s for the weekend with partly cloudy weather.
