On Thursday at 11 pm, the National Hurricane Center issued an advisory stating that the system, which has been named Jose, has become a tropical storm with sustained winds of 60 mph after undergoing intensification from a tropical depression.

Tropical Storm Jose is 720 miles east of Bermuda, with maximum sustained wind of 60 mph. It’s moving 13 mph to the north.

"Weakening is forecast, and Jose is expected to become absorbed by Franklin on Saturday." meteorologists state.
