The National Hurricane Center issued the last advisory for the post-tropical cyclone system at 10 am Tuesday. Gert has lost strength and has downgraded from a tropical depression to a post-tropical cyclone with sustained winds of 30 miles per hour.
Post Tropical Cyclone Gert is 230 miles east-southeast of the Northern Leeward Islands, with maximum sustained wind of 30 mph. It’s moving 5 mph to the west-northwest.
