Memorial Day is on Monday, May 29 this year.

This weekend will be a busy one on the Mississippi Coast, with dozens of Memorial Day Weekend events planned in the Gulfport-Biloxi metro.

But what will the weather be like?

Here are three things to know about the weather outlook for Memorial Day 2023 around the Biloxi area

Scorching temperatures for Memorial Day weekend on the MS Coast

According to Accuweather, the high will be around 85 degrees with lots of sunshine. Accuweather’s RealFeel says it’s going to feel like 93 degrees outside.

Make sure to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated if your plan to be outside.

No rain in the Memorial Day weather forecast

Accuweather says the holiday will be “sunny and beautiful.” The chance of rain is minimal in the Gulfport-BIloxi metro.

It was a rainy, wet weekend in Biloxi last Memorial Day

Last year, the temperature was around 83 degrees; however, the rain pummeled the coast, accumulating to about 2.86 inches on Memorial Day 2022.
