This day is when it’s cheapest to fill up your gas tank in MS, new study shows
Even as the national average price of gas remains nearly a dollar higher than it was a year ago, a recent study finds that Mississippi drivers may be able to save money at the pump by filling up on certain days of the week.
The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $4.24 as of June 4, up from $3.14 a year ago, according to the American Automobile Association, a roadside assistance service. In Mississippi, one of the country’s least expensive gas markets, the average cost of a gallon is $3.81, according to AAA data.
