Alabama sheriff found dead of apparent gunshot wound
The Bibb County, Alabama, sheriff was found dead Wednesday morning of an apparent gunshot wound.
According to AL.com, authorities found Sheriff Keith Hannah at sheriff’s headquarters.
Investigators from Clarke County are being brought in to help with the probe, officials said, and an autopsy will be conducted.
Hannah has been with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office for 29 years. He took over as sheriff in 2003.
