Cruz, too ill to go to Ellisville, now plans campaign stop in Florence

Sen. Ted Cruz, whose campaign said Sunday he was too ill to campaign in Ellisville, will be at Berry's Seafood in Florence on Monday afternoon.

"Join Ted Cruz Today in Mississippi for a retail stop in Florence, Mississippi," the campaign says on its EventBrite page.

The stop is from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

For those not familiar with Berry's, if you see an enormous shiny cross on the east side of the U.S. 49 in Florence, you're there.

Seating will be limited, the campaign says, so arrive early.
