Barbour's son charged with assault in D.C.

Haley Barbour's son was arrested last week in D.C., a televion station there reported.
WTOP said Haley Reeves Barbour, Jr. was charged early Friday with aggravated assault after a bar patron told police Barbour punched him.
The WTOP report said after the man complimented Barbour's wife, the son of the two-term governor made fun of the man’s hairstyle and repeatedly punched the man, who wasn't named, in the face.
The station said Barbour told police the man touched his wife inappropriately and was defending her. His wife never told police she was touched inappropriately.
Barbour’s next court appearance is scheduled for May 29, WTOP reported.
