CRAWDADDY: Wicker elicits pot joke from budding comedian in Senate
Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., fired up a humorous exchange and a hearing of the Communications, Technology, Innovation & the Internet Subcommittee that quickly went to pot.
Wicker innocently wondered where a person could see cherry blossoms anywhere near D.C. and Sen. Corey Booker, D-N.J., told him there were plenty in New Jersey. That's when Sen. Cory Gardner, R-Colo., chimed in.
