Politico went up this morning with a lengthy analysis of Mississippi's snub of Obamacare.
"Mississippi Burned," by Sarah Varney, a senior for Kaiser Health News, is less than flattering.
Varney came to Mississippi and found the rise of the Tea Party, bumbling, "a haunting racial divide," ignorance and disorganization and the "unyielding ideological imperative of conservative politics" were to blame, she said.
“We work hard at being last,” said Roy Mitchell, the beleaguered executive director of the Mississippi Health Advocacy Program, told Varney. “Even a dog knows the difference between being tripped over and being kicked.”
