Rep. Jeramey Anderson wants to get 300 people to sign up for car tags honoring Moss Point High School.
The office of the Moss Point Democrat said if at least 300 people must commit to buy a tag by Oct. 14, the tags will be ordered.
"Once the required number of commitments is received, the new license plates will be ordered, manufactured and delivered to the office of licensing officials," Press Secretary India Tate said. "The Department of Revenue will notify licensing officials, the sponsoring organization, and supporters who purchased pre-commitments of the expected availability date of the plates.
2014. Mississippi residents wishing to purchase a pre-commitment for the distinctive license plate may visit Anderson's website and complete the online commitment to purchase application or contact our office at (228) 285-8183.
"There is no better way to show your loyalty and pride of Moss Point High School than owning an official MPHS license plate," Tate said. "Displaying this tag will let everyone know, wherever you drive, that Moss Point High School is your institution of choice."
