Presley re-elected president of multistate board of utility regulators

Northern District Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley has been re-elected president of the Entergy Regional State Committee, a release from his office said today.

His office described the ERSC as a board consisting of utility regulators from Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana and the City of New Orleans with a mission of improving reliability and cost-savings within the Entergy electric system. Presley has served as President of the committee for the past year and was re-elected to a second term on Tuesday at the committee's annual meeting in Jackson.

"It is an honor to work with my colleagues across the four Entergy states and the city of New Orleans to make sure we are doing everything possible to increase electric reliability and produce costs savings to customers." Presley said. "This committee has consistently pushed for increased investment in electric infrastructure and we have had success in bringing transparency to the process. We will continue that mission."
