Reeves shows hunting licenses, says Hewes 'desperate'

In response to the Billy Hewes campaign sending out a release today saying Tate Reeves only got his first hunting license after registering to run for lieutenant governor, Reeves has fired back, sending photos of his past hunting licenses from 2001-2004 and saying he's been getting licenses for more than 20 years.

While Tate Reeves continues to rack up endorsements and recommendations from citizen groups across Mississippi, like physicians and law enforcement, all Billy Hewes can do is spew shrill attacks and scream, 'But Wait, Me Too!'" the Reeves campaign said in a statement.

"The fact is Tate Reeves has been getting hunting licenses for more than 20 years," the statement said.

Reeves said: "Billy, I'd love to have you duck hunt with the Reeves family at Eagle Lake in December or January when this campaign is over. We'll see who's the best shot. I'll even clean the ducks."
