How Initiative 42 voting works

First, voters can choose one of these:

FOR APPROVAL OF EITHER: Initiative Measure No. 42 OR Alternative Measure No. 42 A

AGAINST BOTH: Initiative Measure No. 42 AND Alternative Measure No. 42 A

Then one of these:

(Voters who are against both can still vote for one to show their preference should it pass)

FOR Alternative Measure No. 42 A
