Bryant expected to endorse Romney in Pascagoula

A source close to the Mitt Romney presidential campaign says that Gov. Phil Bryant, at a rally in Pascagoula today, will endorse Romney for president.

Romney is holding a rally at the Port of Pascagoula today about 5 p.m., although reports from the rally site are that he will not be there until 5:30 p.m.

Bryant had previously endorsed Texas Gov. Rick Perry when he was in the race, but had withheld endorsement since his departure from the race.

Romney has received endorsements from many Mississippi elected leaders, including U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran, Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves and Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann.
