TAIPEI - Taiwan President Lai Ching-te will speak at the airport mid-Tuesday morning after arriving back home from Eswatini, his office said.

Lai made a surprise visit to the small southern African kingdom over the weekend after his government blamed Chinese pressure for forcing the cancellation of a previous trip planned for last month.
