Man sets trailer on fire, killing woman and two kids sleeping inside, CA cops say
A 59-year-old man has been accused of setting a mobile home on fire, killing the three people inside, California officials said.
Now, he’s on the run, according to a June 25 Facebook post by Stockton officers.
Police responded to the report of a fire at about 6:40 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, and found a woman and two kids dead inside the trailer, officials said.
After further investigation, police learned the suspect, Jose Carmona, set the home on fire while the woman and kids were sleeping, police said.
How Carmona knew the victims wasn’t specified by police. Authorities have not publicly identified those who were found dead.
His known aliases are Jose Carmona-Estrada, Roberto Giron-Giron, Felipe Ramirez Leon, Juan Alonzo-Alemndares, Juan Alonzo, Jose Avilla Cardona and Andres Vecerra Torres, officers said.
Carmona is considered dangerous and police ask anyone with information to call 209-937-8377, officials said. People should not approach him, authorities said.
A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered, police said.
Stockton is about an 80-mile drive northeast of San Francisco.
