This heavenly townhome for sale in Canada could be the answer to your prayers
What was once a house of worship in Toronto is now a slew of heavenly condos, one of which has hit the Canada real estate market for $699,000.
The former Dufferin Street Presbyterian Church, built in the late 1800s, BlogTO says, is considered “a designated heritage building” due to its Gothic revival style.
While the outside still has the look and feel of a church, the inside is dramatically different and looks like pure chic and sophistication.
This particular two-story, one-bedroom, one-bathroom townhome that’s for sale is complete with modern finishes that include:
Open concept design
Hardwood floors
An abundance of windows
Natural light flowing through
A private terrace
The home is also close to public transportation including the subway.
Townhomes or houses that were once churches aren’t too uncommon these days.
In 2021, superstars Beyonce and Jay Z listed a 13,300-square-foot mansion that was once a posh church in New Orleans, McClatchy News reported. Another condo built inside a former church popped up right across the street from a popular San Francisco park and was listed for $5.9 million.
