Bill Belichick’s new Subway commercial has arrived — and the reactions are hilarious
The phrase “Bill Belichick has a sense of humor” may come off like an oxymoron considering the six-time Super Bowl champion head coach often wears a scowl that can freeze your soul in the dead of summer.
But the leader of the New England Patriots showed on Tuesday that, perhaps, people were sleeping on his personality.
Twitter went wild after Subway dropped its newest commercial featuring America’s favorite grump.
To sum it up: Belichick sees man holding chicken, man realizes the error of his ways, Belichick straight up gives the man his own signature sleeveless look, social media goes crazy.
Subway got in on the online fun and started taking aim at people who were loving the new commercial and those who were attempting to deflate it.
It’s probably only a coincidence that Belichick’s sense of humor decided to make an appearance shortly after superstar quarterback Tom Brady left the frozen tundra known as Foxborough, Massachusetts, for the sun and humidity of Tampa, Florida. Could be the sandwiches, though.
