6 South MS lottery players win 2nd Chance jackpots. Here’s what they won
It pays to save those losing lottery tickets, several people from South Mississippi learned, as they each collected a big piece of the $1 million prize in the 2nd Chance Drawing.
Of the 10 players who won the combined $1,025,000 payout, six are from South Mississippi. The lottery commission didn’t identify the winners by name and will notify them by certified mail.
These players are the winners from South Mississippi:
▪ A Leakesville player won the top prize of $200,000 on a $10 Power 10X scratch-off game purchased at Golden Nugget Casino Biloxi
▪ An Ocean Springs player won $100,000 on a $5 $100,000 Jackpot scratch-off game purchased at Bao Wow’s in Ocean Springs
▪ A Gautier player won $100,000 on a $5 Silver 7s scratch-off game purchased at Fast Mart 12 in Gautier
▪ A Lucedale player won $100,000 on a $5 50X Cash Blitz scratch-off game purchased at Central Station in Lucedale
▪ A Biloxi player won $100,000 on a $5 Double Diamonds scratch-off game purchased at Polk’s Crossgates Discount Drugs in Biloxi
▪ A Biloxi player won $20,000 on a $2 20x Cash Blitz scratch-off game purchased at Palace Casino in Biloxi.
The other four winners are from Plantersville, Purvis, Golden and Grenada.
Players who scratch and don’t win can continue to enter the 2nd Chance Drawing online only for the next drawing on July 3.
