Man killed in George County crash

One man died in a two-vehicle crash on Easter Sunday in George County, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

The accident happened just before 8 p.m. on Mississippi 63 at Grain Elevator Road, resulting in the death of Kenneth Dubose, MHP spokesperson Chase Elkins said.

Dubose was attempting to cross the southbound lanes of 63 in a red Nissan pickup when a black Toyota Camry slammed into the right side of his car.

The driver of the Toyota was not immediately identified.

Elkins said the accident is under investigation.
