Wreck with 18-wheeler has all lanes shut down on U.S. 49, Bethel Road in Saucier

A wreck on U.S. 49 and Bethel Road in Saucier between an 18-wheeler and a pick-up truck has four lanes shut down as crews work to clear debris, officials said.

Officials with the Harrison County Sheriff's Office said the extent of injuries are unknown at this time but first responders are on the scene.

Debris was thrown across north and southbound lanes halting traffic at about 7:45 a.m.

Although the wreck was near Saucier Elementary School, officials do not believe children were involved in the accident.
