After day of crashes and delays, I-10 traffic moving at full speed, MDOT reports
8:45 p.m.: I-10 traffic is moving without delay across the Mississippi Coast.
5 p.m.: Travelers entering Alabama from Mississippi are finding significant delays. MDOT says travelers can expect “major delays” eastbound at the state line. The MDOT live travel map shows a backup of about five miles.
4 p.m.: The crash on I-10 eastbound has been cleared and traffic has resumed normal flow, according to MDOT.
3:20 p.m.: The crash affecting traffic on I-10 westbound has been cleared, MDOT reports, but an eastbound crash in Harrison County is now causing delays. The crash is at the Shriners Boulevard / Woolmarket interchange (Exit 41). The backup for this crash is nearly three miles. MDOT estimates it could take an hour to clear the crash.

The Mississippi Department of Transportation is reporting that the left westbound lane of Interstate 10 is closed in Harrison County.
At 2:38 p.m., MDOT reported a crash on I-10 at the Cedar Lake Road / Coast Coliseum exit (Exit 44). MDOT’s live traffic tracker shows a backup of nearly two miles.
MDOT says it could take up to an hour before normal traffic flow is restored and is advising drivers to avoid the area.
