Update: Vehicle fire cleared, traffic again moving freely on I-10, MDOT reports
The Mississippi Department of Transportation is reporting that the two right westbound lanes of Interstate 10 have reopened after a nearly hourlong closure in South Mississippi.
At 8:55 a.m. MDOT reported a vehicle fire between the I-110 exit in Biloxi and the Washington Avenue exit (Exit 50) in Ocean Springs. The fire has been put out, and the scene has been cleared, according to MDOT.
