Crash adds to delays westbound drivers are experiencing on I-10 across South MS
4:15 p.m.: A crash is now adding to the problems westbound drivers are encountering on I-10 in Harrison County. MDOT says drivers should expect increased delays the next hour because of a crash just past Exit 31 (Canal Road).

3:45 p.m.: Westbound I-10 travelers are encountering delays across South Mississippi, and there are now slowdowns eastbound in Jackson County. In Hancock County, there are westbound slowdowns between Exits 13 and 2. In Harrison County, there are westbound slowdowns between Exits 28 (County Farm Road) and 31 (Canal Road). In Jackson County, there are eastbound and westbound delays around Exit 69 (Mississippi 63).

1:20 p.m.: While the traffic in Harrison and Hancock counties has lessened, the backups in Jackson County are increasing. MDOT is reporting delays from Exit 69 all the way beyond the Alabama border, with only one small stretch where traffic is moving at full speed.

12:45 p.m.: Along with tieups in Harrison and Hancock counties, there are now westbound delays for nearly three miles on I-10 in Jackson County. Traffic is backed up before the exit to Old Highway 63.

Westbound drivers are encountering heavy traffic in both Harrison and Hancock counties on Interstate 10 in South Mississippi.
Live traffic updates from the Mississippi Department of Transportation show significant backups in Harrison County just east of County Farm Road. Additionally, drivers in Hancock County are encountering delays before Mississippi 607.
