All lanes of traffic blocked on I-10 after wreck involving pedestrian near Canal Road exit
All lanes of Interstate 10 in Harrison County near the Canal Road exit are blocked after a wreck involving a pedestrian, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
Traffic halted so a medical helicopter can land and bring at least one victim to a hospital for treatment, MHP said on Twitter.
The accident occurred on I-10 east near the 29-mile marker.
The Mississippi Department of Transportation said at about 10:45 a.m. that the interstate for about 90 minutes. Drivers are advised to take an alternate route.
