A vehicle crashed on Interstate 10 after crossing the Escatawpa River, injuring three people, a state trooper said.
The crash occurred Wednesday in a westbound lane west of Franklin Creek Road Exit 75, Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman Chase Elkins said.
The vehicle ran off the highway after coming over the bridge about 12:45 p.m., Elkins said.
The vehicle ran down an embankment, struck a tree and came to rest on the driver’s side of the vehicle, he said.
