Car fire on Interstate 10 in Jackson County stalls traffic

Drivers traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 near the 57 mile marker should expect delays as officials work to put out a vehicle fire.

The Mississippi Department of Transportation said in an alert that the right lane is blocked by an emergency vehicle.

Drivers should expect delays for about an hour, MDOT said.

Mississippi Highway Patrol is on scene.
