Both lanes of Interstate 10 near the Ocean Springs exit have been cleared for travel after cleanup from a truck that overturned, blocking both westbound lanes.
Travel was brought to a standstill more than two hours after a truck hauling raw sewerage overturned near Exit 51 at 5:43 a.m., Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman Chase Elkins said.
The lanes re-opened at 8:07 a.m.
A 2013 Halo truck ran off the edge of the road and the driver over-corrected, causing the truck to overturn and block both lanes, Elkins said.

State troopers later began directing motorists to travel on the shoulder of the road.
The driver had minor injuries and was taken to Merit Health hospital in Biloxi, according to Elkins.
