Veterans, here’s your chance to tell the VA what you think about health care

Veterans who use the Biloxi VA Medical Center will have the chance next week to air their concerns with top leaders in the Department of Veterans Affairs Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System.

Senior officials from the health care system, and representatives of the Biloxi National Cemetery and the VA Regional Benefits Office will be at the town hall from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 17 at the Biloxi VA Medical Center’s Recreation Hall in Building 17. The center is at 400 Veterans Ave.

Veterans will be able to ask questions about VA medical care and learn more about burial benefits, disability claims and other VA services.

The news release from the VA describes the town hall as “an open forum for veterans receiving health care services from VA. The goal is to ensure veterans, their families, and beneficiaries have the opportunity to be heard and have their health care concerns addressed by senior GCVHCS officials and/or subject-matter expert(s).”
