Bomb threats called into Camp Shelby

Two bomb threats were called into the Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center on Friday morning, officials said.

The threats were made between 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. No bombs have been found.

The soldiers who received the calls reported the incidents to their superiors and contacted local authorities as well, officials said.

As a precautionary measure, the Mississippi Highway Patrol bomb squad will sweep the area but the post is open and all personnel are accounted for.
