Stuff the Bus school supply drive underway

A drive is underway in Jackson and George counties by the United Way to collect school supplies for children in need.

Parents have been contacting the Pascagoula-Gautier School District looking for help in fully equipping their children for the coming school year.

Collection locations are Pascagoula Office Depot, Singing River Federal Credit Union and Wal-Mart locations in Pascagoula, Ocean Springs and Lucedale.

The way it works: Each location has a list of supplies needed. Buy the supplies you choose and deposit them in the pop-up school bus at the front of the businesses.

The drive ends July 31.
