First Lady Michelle Obama will deliver the commencement addresses at Jackson State University in Jackson on April 23, the White House announced Monday.

She also will give her final commencement address as First Lady at Santa Fe Indian School in Santa Fe, N.M. and City College of New York in New York.

Jackson State is one of the largest universities in Mississippi and is a Historically Black University originally established to educate newly freed African American slaves to become ministers and teachers.

She has delivered remarks on an HBCU campus each year since she became First Lady.
