The presidents of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and the University of South Alabama will sign an agreement on Tuesday making it easier for MGCCC graduates to transfer to USA.
The Pathway USA agreement will, among other benefits, guarantee admission to USA to MGCCC students in the program who complete their associates degrees with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
The program begins in the 2016 fall semester.
The two schools will also announce a separate agreement that helps graduates of MGCCC's Hotel and Restaurant Management program to more smoothly transition into USA's Hospitality and Tourism Management bachelor's degree program.
