Judges needed March 1 for Region VI Science Fair
BILOXI -- The Mississippi Region VI Science & Engineering Fair, set for March 1 at the Coast Convention Center, will display about 1,000 science fair entries who won at their schools.
First through twelfth graders will be competing in 10 science categories, from botany to zoology. Students compete for regional honors and the opportunity to advance to the state and international levels.
The fair's organizers are asking residents to help judge the entries. More judges means students will have more time to describe their projects.
Judges will meet at 8 a.m. at the Convention Center for registration and assignments. The judging will run from 9 a.m. to about noon. Attire is business casual or uniform of the day.
