Resurrection Catholic School Key Club celebrates Red Ribbon Week
The Key Club at Resurrection Catholic School in Pascagoula sponsored Red Ribbon Week 2015. To kick off the week, Brian Norton, a Task Force Officer with the Drug Enforcement Administration, spoke to the student body. On Tuesday, students wore caps for 'Put a Cap on Drugs;' on Wednesday, Key Club members passed out 'Don't Be an Airhead -- Say No to Drugs' Airhead candies; on Thursday, students wore boots for 'Stomp Out Drugs;' on Friday, students participated in the annual Halloween costume contest. Students dressed in costumes for a small donation, raising $150 for the United Way of Jackson and George counties. Winners, from left: Savanna Galloway, second place; Rebecca Dikum, first place; Johnathon Sharp, third place; and Veronica Myers, honorable mention.
