Application process open for Leo Seal teacher awards

Applications are now being accepted for Leo Seal Innovative Teacher Grants.

The grants, being offered for the 20th year by Hancock Bank and the Gulf Coast Community Foundation, aim to recognize outstanding teachers with creative ideas to enhance classroom learning.

Teachers from Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson Davis, Lamar and Pearl River counties are eligible.

Up to 10 teachers will receive one-time, $2,000 grants.

Teachers can apply at www.mgccf.org. The deadline is Nov. 18.
