Mississippi Coast districts, schools have released winter weather plans. Here’s the list

Considering the possibility of frozen precipitation across the Gulf Coast, Mississippi Coast school districts and institutions of higher learning are considering alterations of their schedules.

Here is a list of local districts and schools and their announced plans, which will continue to be updated as cancellations roll in:

Bay St. Louis-Waveland School District: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Biloxi Public School District: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Coast Episcopal School: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

George County School District: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Grace Baptist Academy: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Gulfport School District: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Hancock County School District: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Harrison County School District: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Holy Trinity Catholic School: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Jackson County School District: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Long Beach School District: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Moss Point School District: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Nativity BVM School: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Ocean Springs School District: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Our Lady Academy: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Our Lady of Fatima Catholic: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Pascagoula-Gautier School District: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Pass Christian School District: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Pearl River County School District: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Picayune School District: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Poplarville School District: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Resurrection Catholic: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Sacred Heart Catholic: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

St. Alphonsus Catholic School: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

St. James Catholic: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

St. Patrick Catholic High School: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

St. Vincent de Paul Catholic: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Saint Stanislaus High School: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Stone County School District: Closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Higher education

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College: All locations closed Tuesday, Jan. 21 and Wednesday, Jan. 22. Classes those days will be held online. All campus facilities are closed except for the cafeteria and residence halls on the Perkinston Campus.

University of Southern Mississippi: Classes canceled Tuesday, Jan. 21 and Wednesday, Jan. 22.

William Carey University: Biloxi, Hattiesburg and Baton Rouge campuses closed, with all classes moved online Tuesday, Jan. 21. and Wednesday, Jan. 22.
