Here is the Cruisin’ The Coast 2020 schedule of events
Just about all of the events at the 24th annual Cruisin’ The Coast are outside, and although some popular events like the burn-out contest won’t be held, much of the schedule is the same.
Thousands of antique and classic cars will fill the roads and downtowns across the Coast from Oct. 4-11.
Social distancing and other Centers for Disease Control guidelines should be followed at all events because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Here are the events scheduled for this year’s Cruisin’ The Coast:
Sunday, Oct. 4
▪ View the Cruise, downtown Gulfport 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
▪ Cruise-In, Hardy Court Shopping Center, Gulfport. 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
▪ Cruisin’ Through the Decades at Gautier 4-6:30 p.m. Drive-In Movie “Grease”
▪ Appearances by Cristy Lee, Hardy Court Shopping Center 10 a.m.-noon. View The Cruise Gulfport 2-5 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 5
▪ Registration pick-up 11 a.m.-5 p.m. for last names A-K only at Cruise Central, Centennial Plaza, Gulfport
▪ Autocross at Coast Coliseum west parking lot, 1-5 p.m., for registered vehicles only. Presented by Scarlet Pearl Casino and Autocross Guys
▪ Long Beach Parade starts at 5:30 p.m., with no throws this year due to the coronavirus. First 600 registered vehicles to arrive will be in the parade 4-6 p.m.
▪ Cristy Lee appearances: Cruise Central, Centennial Plaza, Gulfport, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Grand marshal at Long Beach Parade
▪ The Tip Tops play at Long Beach Harbor, 6-9 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct 6
▪ Registration pick-up 9 a.m.-5 p.m. for last names L-Z only at Cruise Central, Centennial Plaza, Gulfport
▪ Autocross at Coast Coliseum west parking lot, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., for registered vehicles only. Presented by Scarlet Pearl Casino and Autocross Guys
