Biloxi driver confronts man found in vehicle, police say
Police responded to a report of a fight and a vehicle burglary in progress Friday afternoon in the 700 block of Beach Boulevard.
The victim called 911 about 1:10 p.m. and told officers he found a man inside his vehicle. He then confronted and tried to detain the man. After a brief struggle, the man fled and was last seen running north across Beach Boulevard, Sgt. O’Neil Adams said in a press release.
“Biloxi police officers searched the area and located the suspect,” Adams said.
Em Van Le, 53, was arrested on a charge of burglary of a vehicle.
Le is being held in the Harrison County jail in lieu of $25,000 bond set by Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain.
