A man arrested in Friday’s search of a Canal Road home is suspected of distributing meth, Sheriff Troy Peterson said.
Bernell Carter, 41, of 58th Avenue in Gulfport was found with 3 ounces of meth, 3 grams of cocaine and digital scales, Peterson said.
Carter was arrested during an investigation by the sheriff’s narcotics unit and the Coastal Narcotics Enforcement Team. The home is just south of John Clark Road.
Narcotics agents arrested Carter on charges of possession with intent to distribute meth and possession of cocaine.
He was booked at the Harrison County jail.
Justice Court Judge Diane Ladner set bond at a total of $100,000.
