Two arrested in killing of Moss Point educator Willie C. Williams
Two people have been arrested in the stabbing death of former Moss Point educator Willie C. Williams.
According to WXXV25, Lee Andrew Gipson, 23, of Moss Point, was arrested on a charge of capital murder. Kierra Shante McWilliams, 24, of Moss Point, was arrested on a charge of accessory after the fact.
Both are being held at the Jackson County jail.
Williams, 64, was found in his home Friday. He had been stabbed repeatedly, Moss Point Police Chief Art McClung said.
Williams was described as a stern but caring educator when he worked in Moss Point. He had worked at Charlotte Hyatt Elementary and served as an interim superintendent in 2000-01 before moving to Ed Mayo Junior High.
