Police have released surveillance pictures of a man they say stole a pickup truck and used a stolen credit card at Wal-Mart.

The truck was reported stolen Sunday from the 1800 block of Popp’s Ferry Road, Detective Kris M. Hines Jr. said.

The Toyota Tacoma four-door was parked at a business and its owner was a patron there, he said.

On Monday, police learned the man suspected of stealing the truck had used a credit card he found in the truck to make a purchase at the Biloxi Wal-Mart, Hines said.

Anyone with information about the man or the pickup truck is asked to call the Biloxi Police Department at 228-392-0641 or its Criminal Investigations Division at 228-435-6112.

Or tipsters can call Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-877-787-5898 or give a tip online at mscoastcrimestoppers.com.
